Pumpkin Fest

This October the lodge held the second annual Pumpkin Fest. The event turned out GREAT and every one had lots of fun. We had a total of 18 troops attending and more than three hundred people.

Events included Archery, BB Guns, Hot Pumpkin, Light the Pumpkin, Leaky Pumpkin, Mummy Wrap, Monster Relay Challenge, Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Hawking, Pumpkin Hoist, Rifle, and Spider Web. Overall one of the most competitive events was the monster relay challenge where Mr. Brandon made up a scenario and sent the patrols off on an adventure through monstrous spirits, patrols kept coming back again and again to get a better time some patrols even stayed to watch their competition and see what they had to beat.

I would like to thank all of the staff that came up and helped especially Ed Jordan, Adrian Tsang, and The Costa Family. I would also like to thank Phil for dealing with all of the enraged adults trying to drive their cars up the hill and park in the right place. Finally I would like to thank the cook crew for making all of the great food and for wearing costumes, joining in on the spirit of the event.
