Purpose

The Achewon Nimat Lodge drum and dance team supports the work of the lodge by serving as a visable presence to the units of the San Francisco Bay Area council.

By providing a positive and unique facet of Scouting to the Cubbing program we encourage Cub and Webelos Scouts to continue on into Boy Scouting. By appearing at Cub Scout camping programs we enhance the experience for the Cub Scouts and aid in retention of these young boys in the Scouting movement.

We perform for various Council level activities as well. Winter Camp Awareness, University of Scouting, and Scout-O-Rama are three of the most visable activities we participate in. Here we are another positive face of the Order of the Arrow to the Scouters and Volunteers of our Council.
